Uriel Sinai is a cinematographer and director of documentary films. His documentary feature, “Numbered,” co-directed with Dana Doron, was in official competition at the Jerusalem Film Festival, won Best First Feature by the Creators’ Forum, and the Silver Hugo at the Chicago Film Festival. For his work on “My Beloved Country,” he won the Cinematography Award at the 2017 DocAviv Festival. His last film, “Wild,” directed with Danel Elpeleg, won the First Feature prize at the 2018 DocAviv Festival. Uriel has shot numerous films and television series and is also a talented and recognized photojournalist. He won first place in the 2005 World Press Photo Competition and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize (for the New York Times) for his work documenting the war in Ukraine.
