Gon is a screenwriter, novelist, copywriter and journalist. He writes content for television, film, advertising and web, and his works (In Short, Nitza and Lehem, Der Mentsh, the Milky commercials of 2016 and more) have all found great success. He was a co-writer on Bob Dylan’s music video Like a Rolling Stone, directed by Vania Heiman, that won Best Music Video in 2013. As a journalist, he had written for Yediot Aharonot, Time Out, Haaretz and Forward. Gon is the author of two novels, The Occupants of the Children’s Room and The Sequoia Children, as well as a collection of short stories. Gon lived in Brooklyn for 3 years where he worked at Cornell University and Vice Media. In the last few years, he has won the Jerusalem Fund, the MacDowell Fellowship, the LABA Fellowship and the US Shamus Award for Best Detective Fiction. He was also included in the Israeli 30 Under 30 list.
